科目簡介
在馬可福音，耶穌回答說：「第一要緊的就是說：『以色列啊，你要聽，主我們神是獨一的主。 你要盡心、盡性、盡意（your mind）、盡力愛主你的神。』⋯⋯」近二三十年，華人基督教的思潮已經逐漸重拾信仰與情感之間的連結，着重情緒、原生家庭對門徒屬靈生命的影響。但是，除了以哲學邏輯、科學論證護教等「硬議題」外，基督的門徒怎樣以他的思維（Mind）來愛主？基督徒怎樣理以十堂課反思和塑造自己的思維，本科盡力預備學員在生活、神學學習、牧養處境中邁向真理和智慧。
學習目標
透過不同課題（見課程大綱）做切入點，了解和認識人思考的方式和信仰之間的關連。
應用塑造自己的思考，預備進入牧養和神學學習。
探討信仰和教會牧養的思考議題。

功課要求、評分標準及學習時數分配（3學分；4500分鐘 / 75小時）
課堂投入參與（上課時間共1500分鐘，15%）
閱讀及閱讀筆記（1200分鐘，15%）：
完成閱讀指定的教科書，列出已閱讀之參考書書目及所讀頁數
完成並呈交閱讀筆記
有關閱讀筆記的製作，會在第 1 堂討論。
小組討論 （240分鐘，15%）
閱讀文章和題目會在第 5 堂派發，在第 7 堂進行
討論就指定定神學題目預備討論，掌握學者的觀點及其中的論據，表達自己的看法，藉此體驗初步嘗試神科和經科的思路。
期末功課：兩次小組簡報分享（Presentation） (1200分鐘，55%)
描述性簡報分享（20%）

評論性簡報分享（35%）
介紹和深入分析一個有爭議性的信仰／牧養話題，引導同學討論，展現課堂中及閱讀的內容。
所謂的「話題」不及議題廣闊和艱深，暫定話題包括：
原始和聲的《保守我心》——歸納及分析教授張祥志對詩歌《保守我心》的評論及其他人的回應
最終的話題有待同學與教師商談，歡迎有想法的同學提出更切合現時處境的話題。
簡報分享的評分最少包括以下準則（適用於 4.1 及 4.2）
溝通傳意的技巧（Presentation and Communication Skills）
分享材料的準備（Preparation for your Materials）
對分享內容的熟悉程度（Famailiarisation with the Content）
歡迎有想法的同學提出其他準則。
