B. 課程目標

苦難是人生難以逃避的一種負面經歷；本科會從靈修歷史中選取多位屬靈偉人的感人見證及神學資源, 和同學一起探討上帝如何在逆境中工作, 幷信徒如何在困難中與神同行, 更深入經歷上帝，迎向挑戰。

C. 課程內容

iii. 受苦的靈修神學資源: 神、哲學論受苦
iv. 受苦的靈修神學資源: 歷史中的屬靈榜樣
v. 杏林子: 殘疾痛症的纏磿
vi. 楊牧穀: 癌病的威脅
vii. 馬丁路德: 爲主發聲的代價和瘟疫
viii. 加爾文: 瘟疫中事奉及反思
ix. 巴克斯特: 政治的逼害
x. 戴德生: 將一切都豁出去
xi. 結論: 受苦經歷和實踐神學的角色

D. 科目要求

1. 小專文：共約1500字(20%)

探討a) 做14日意識省察；b) 參照加爾文對逆境的經歷和回應(Garry Williams), 和你自己過往對逆境的經歷和回應後, 作初步信仰反思。
