課程目的：
本課程主要幫助學員掌握基本釋經的理論、哲學、技巧及實踐，內容主要分為兩部分：
第一，認識當代釋經學的發展，嘗試以文本背後的世界(the world behind the text)、文本當中的世界(the world within the text)及文本前的世界(the world in front of the text)的三層詮釋意義作輪廓，說明在不同詮釋意義當中的詮釋基本理論。
第二，認識釋經的實用技巧，例如文學類別、上下文意義、經文分割、字彙等等，學習如何由釋經的成果中帶出真理的實踐。
教科書：
高銘謙。《投入整個生命來詮釋》。香港：建道神學院，2022。
課程要求：
1. 閱讀(總分：15%)
l 在本學期內，讀畢《投入整個生命來詮釋》。呈交釋經專文時，同時報告是否完成閱讀要求。
2. 習作(總分：40%)
l 目的：完成有關觀察、解釋及應用的四項習作，每項10%。
3. 釋經專文(總分：45%)
l 在以弗所書當中，自行選擇一段經文作釋經專文。
l 格式如下：
i. 引言：說明本文目的。
ii. 經文分割：說明合理的經文分割。
iii. 經文詮釋：分小段(大約三段)，每段進行上下文、字彙、歷史背景等的解經，並說明每段如何達到全文的目的。
iv. 信息主點及應用：說明此經文的信息主點，以「三點式」說明，並帶出應用建議。
v. 總結：說明這三點信息如何配合整體的全文目的。
l 字數：4,000-6,000中文字
l 可參考老師所提供的例子。

觀察(二) – 句子結構及文法
解釋(一) – 何謂解釋，字義，因果，象徵，上下文(文本中)
解釋(二) – 歷史文化，古近東比較，文化人類學(文本後)
應用 + 聯繫 – 應用的原則，SMART的應用，設計查經問題
文學類別的分析(一)：基本英文文法，書信文體。
文學類別的分析(二)：新約福音書(比喻、敘事等等)及舊約敘事。
文學類別的分析(三)：先知講論、詩歌體及天啟文學。
文學類別的分析(四)：律法及智慧書
