課程目標：

  • To help students develop and enhance advanced reading skills in English especially for reading the Bible and theological texts  
              

課程內容：
  • Biblical and theological vocabulary;                                                                                    
  • Grammar, sentence structure and genre in the texts of the Bible, theological books and other publications such as hymns and quotations   

課程要求：

1. Weekly reading for presentation in class (1 hr/wk) 10%

2. One quiz on vocabulary (1 to 3 hrs for revision) 20%

3. A test on Bible texts demonstrating understanding of the texts and knowledge of the language structure / use in the texts (4 to 6 hrs for revision) 35%

4. A test on theological texts demonstrating understanding of the texts and knowledge of the language structure / use in the texts (4 to 6 hrs for revision) 35%
